For a client, we disassembled, maintained, installed and commissioned a reverse osmosis unit on a ship in the port of Algeciras (Spain).
The on-site activities included the following:
- Inspecting the reverse osmosis unit;
- Removing the defective pneumatic system;
- Removing the defective electrical system;
- Installing complete skid with automatic valves and electrical cabinet;
- Connecting the electrical installation;
- Adjusting existing pipework;
- Connecting the pipework;
- Updating the software;
- Performing tests on the reverse osmosis unit and the related systems;
- Commissioning the reverse osmosis unit.
Due to the previously planned departure of the ship, the work had to be done in a very short period of time and our technician, thus, was on the plane to the location within 24 hours of the first contact.
