In collaboration with our partners Brand Safway and Lomans, Marine Systems has realized a new measurement location on the Oosterschelde on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat. The measurement location has been placed to replace the previous measuring pole at this location and provides Rijkswaterstaat data in relation to the water level, wave height, wind and temperature and conductivity of the water.

Within this assignment, Marine Systems took care of the sensor technical installation, the E/I activities and the data communication. To everyone’s satisfaction van der Straaten has taken care of the constructive work and has placed the measuring pole.

In June 2022, the measuring pole was delivered turn-key to Rijkswaterstaat. The maintenance of these sensors will alse be carried out by Marine Systems in the next years.

These sensors are part of the national water monitoring network of Rijkswaterstaat CIV. Curious about what the data for these sensors is used for? You can read more about this via the link below: https://www.magazinesrijkswaterstaat.nl/zakelijkeninnovatie/2021/01/landelijk-meetnet-water
